Taco Party! Held March 21st, 2026

On March 21, the villages of del Lago and Sonata held their second annual Taco Party at Foothill Center! Organized by Anahid Gregg and Monona Tang, the event brought together 72 residents and guests for a lively afternoon. The room was beautifully decorated with streamers and paper flowers, with festive Fiesta touches on every table.

Lunch was provided by caterer Citlaly, who served delicious asada, pork, chicken, and shrimp tacos, along with quesadillas, rice, beans, and all the fixings—it was absolutely fantastic! Monona once again got everyone mingling with a fun round of “Find Someone Who,” encouraging guests to meet new neighbors by checking off a list of shared traits. There was plenty of laughter, and many new friendships were formed. Check our photos of the fun!

We look forward to seeing you at our upcoming Bring Your Chair event on April 6!

del Lago’s First BBQ – A Sizzling Success!

Del Lago held its first BBQ on September 20th, and it was such a hit that we’ve already scheduled the next one for Saturday, September 19th, 2026!

Our Master Griller, Emil Pissari, was ably assisted by ???, Mark Gregg, and Dave Dimmick. A total of 56 residents joined in the fun, enjoying Bocce and Corn Hole along with a delicious spread of burgers, hot dogs, and veggie burgers.

It was a perfect afternoon filled with laughter, great food, and good company — and we hope to see even more residents next year!

View photos here… (and maybe we’ll have a slightly better photographer than Anahid next time 😄).
